Location

Jumby Bay, is a 300-acre private island off the northeast shore of Antigua, aims to be as removed as possible from the usual crowded tourist experience. The island is accessible only by private ferry; golf carts and bicycles are used instead of cars. There are 19 full-ownership houses and 22 residential villas at the resort, and seven additional houses are now being added, with more planned. The resort is demolishing its 40 hotel rooms to build new ones, but in the meantime, some of the houses and villas are still being rented to guests. The new houses, with their own pools, will come with a housekeeper, a chef and a gardener. There is a restaurant in the resort's plantation house, and the spa and an oceanfront infinity pool are planned. Guests and owners are transported to the resort via catamaran from the airport on Antigua.

Dining

The Verandah Restaurant
Simplicity and individuality are at the heart of Jumby Bay cuisine. Signature dishes and an array of combinations that simply must be experienced are inspired by a fusion of East and West, fresh and elegantly understated.

The Estate House
Candlelight, swaying palms and soothing music lend to the Casablanca-style atmosphere of the resort's central gathering place. Located in a 230-year-old English plantation manor, Jumby Bay's signature restaurant specializes in modern European cuisine with Asian touches. Multi-course dining options as well as a seasonal tasting menu are offered. Cocktails are served upstairs, amid colonial elegance, on the surrounding terraces.

In-Suite & Picnic Options
In addition to full English breakfasts at The Verandah, arrangements can be made to have a continental breakfast served on your private terrace. Private terrace dinners, beach dinners and picnic lunches may also be arranged at your request.
